Graduate Research Assistantship Position is available at the University of Florida’s new Plant Breeding Graduate Program (programs.ifas.ufl.edu/plant-breeding/) in Dr. Fredy Altpeter’s breeding program (agronomy.ifas.ufl.edu/people/fredy-a). The position is for a Ph.D.-level graduate student to conduct
research on the control of flowering time in energycane using CRISPR/Cas9 and other biotechnology tools. The assistantship includes a competitive stipend and tuition. The student will be expected to conduct research in Gainesville, FL and at the Everglades Research and Education Center (EREC) in Belle Glade, FL.
