One PhD Student Position is available in the Laboratory of Organic PhotochemistryTitle: Photoactive Compounds for Bioapplications
Required expertise: Organic synthesis; physical and physical organic chemistry; standard analytical methods (NMR, GC, HPLC); spectroscopy; and preferably photochemistry.
Location: Department of Chemistry and RECETOX, Masaryk University Brno, Czech Republic.

Photophysics of Organic Compounds
Our group focuses on the development and photophysical studies
of novel photochemically active compounds and fluorophores, emphasizing the use
of photochemistry to solve some interdisciplinary problems in chemistry,
biology, physics, and environmental sciences. The laboratory is equipped with
femtosecond and nanosecond flash photolysis systems, absorption and
fluorescence spectrometers, and various photoreactors.
